Centred on four fundamental pillars—chickens, planet, people, and food security and economic resilience—the Framework ensures environmental stewardship is balanced with animal welfare, workforce wellbeing, and a reliable food supply. 

As a world-first initiative in the chicken meat sector, it features transparent metrics and robust reporting processes, enabling ongoing tracking of industry progress. All collected data is aggregated and anonymised, fostering transparency while safeguarding the privacy of individual growers and businesses. Through this innovative approach, Australia’s industry demonstrates leadership in responsible production and a steadfast commitment to continuous improvement, addressing the expectations of communities, customers, and regulators alike.
