The Australian Chicken Growers Council (ACGC) Limited represents the interests of contract meat chicken growers at the national level.  It consists of representatives from each of the State organisations in NSW, Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania,  Victoria and Western Australia. 

The Council meets twice yearly to discuss significant industry issues, including biosecurity; environmental management; workplace health and safety and animal welfare and production.  ACGC is the major mechanism by which growers through their State organisations can have input into these issues at the national level.

ACGC is a member of the the Australian Chicken Meat Federation.    

The Council's office and Executive Officer are currently based in Brisbane.
